Another competitor in the 'oats' market is Nestle, with Oats and more.
Their design is simple and focuses on the branding and flavour cues.
Looks much more appealing then some of the oat packaging I have found! The colour palette is still important and seems to be like the other brands I have looked at - one main colour but with a range of gradients and shades. Font selection also seems to be a key factor to the designs in this market.
