Another brand I thought to look at was dorest cereals. They are also known primarily for their package design. It is simple, effective and eye-catching. The colours do not need to be bright and garish for the product to stand out. Love the cut-out detail in the pack, however, I must remember my design is going on a pot instead of a box.
