The subject is wrong, however the packaging is beautiful, high-end and attractive. Adding decorative detail adds to the feel of the product and the gold obviously denotes money and luxury. Also think the cream label is interesting due to the shape, the action it performs and the logo on top of it (which you can just see). A crest like logo - would something like this fit with my brief and era?
Another range of products with interesting label shapes. Find the band going behind them and around the bottle eye-catching and a nice detail. Perhaps my ribbon/string could be behind the labels - make it look continuous. Another circular logo has been used here and sits within the labelling but has its own space.
I feel this is too modern and bold for the feel and look I am trying to achieve however I do find it eye-catching and a lovely piece of packaging!
Maybe use old imagery/objects for my brief. Use illustrations on the labels instead of it being solely about the typography.
