potion bottles..

I did a google image search for the phrase 'potion bottles' as I wanted more visual references for the kind of theme and tone of voice I want to use. Below are the images that stood out to me the most.

Quite simple and plain, but I like the illustrated leaflet it comes with.

More decorative and relevant, however, I think I want a design that works across all the packaging - doesn't change for each type.

A bit too witch-like! Does have the old feel that I want to capture but I do not think it is designed and considered enough.

I am really drawn to these designs and thing they work well on the bottles. I think the use of type and image works well to create more impact and I would like to keep this is mind hen developing my own work.

The old string is an unusual touch and works well for the theme. I also think the font is relevant and works well across the range. I would however like to use more decoration/borders/patterns in my designs.

This are very cute little potion bottles and I like how each design is relevant to the contains, however it does not look like a set to me. Perhaps I could experiment with developing this idea.
