As I have now decided to use a 'stamp' for my branding I have done some research into how I could add this element to the existing packaging and labelling.
Below is a piece from thedieline.com where the 'stamp' is not straight or perfectly in line with the label, however it still works and the message is clear. I feel something like this would be best for my project as it is almost adding an 'approved' stamp to the bottle - it is worthy of having the branding on it...
The next idea is to use an extra seal on the product where the branding could sit. Perhaps it could be a sticker that ties onto the ribbon which goes around the bottle to seal it in. (Will test this out, so please visit my design practice blog for the tests). I worry that this will detract from the current packaging and look too busy though.
Last idea, wrap the bottle and seal in brown paper, tie with string and then add a new branded label to the parcel. Could be quite rough and hand produced to look like a hand crafted and made product. (Will also test this)
